Overview
Our committee work is The Heart of the Alliance; it’s where we gather to advocate for ourselves and for the communities we represent. Our committees are where we gather from all over Virginia to join forces and learn what our colleagues are experiencing, and develop advocacy plans. Our committees are structured around Roberts’ Rule of Order parliamentary procedures. During this All-in Members Meeting, we will be reviewing and role-playing the Roberts’ Rules of Order procedures that are necessary to conduct our committee meetings.
You’ll get:
- List of current Committees
- Review Roberts’ Rule of Order example video
- Review of written parliamentary procedures
- Review of a committee agenda
- A chance to role play a normal committee meeting using Roberts Rule of Order
- Questions and concerns will be answered within the meeting.
To prepare for the meeting, view the video: Basics of 4-H Parliamentary Procedure
